Separate service planning from invoice actions
A care plan describes care instructions, while a priced visit plan describes the commercial basis for services. Keeping that distinction visible helps the office review both what will be delivered and how it is intended to be charged.
The foundation supports draft, issued, and void invoices, along with invoice PDFs and credit or correction workflows. Creating a draft, issuing an invoice, downloading its PDF, recording delivery, and recording payment are separate events. A document download should never imply that the customer has paid.
Keep manual receipts understandable
Recording a manual receipt is bookkeeping within the workspace. It is not a card charge or bank transfer. Receipt allocations help relate recorded funds to invoices, while credits explain adjustments to the amount owed.
For scheduling publication, the underlying workflow can consider prepaid clearance, a covering postpaid arrangement, or an authorized exception. This supports a visible conversation between scheduling and billing, instead of leaving a scheduler to infer financial clearance from unrelated records.
Prepare payroll inputs for review
Visit-linked time records, reviewed corrections, and staff information can support payroll preparation. Preparation is different from calculating statutory deductions, transmitting a payroll file, submitting a payroll run, or paying employees. Those downstream actions require their own verified process.
During a demo, follow a priced visit through an invoice, a manual receipt, and a correction. Then inspect how attendance reaches payroll preparation and who reviews exceptions. Do not assume EVV certification, payer claims, direct payment processing, or a particular payroll integration is included: those commercial capabilities have not been confirmed.
Questions about the workflow
Does Estrella charge cards or transfer funds?
The documented foundation supports manual payment records. Recording a receipt does not move money.
Does payroll preparation run payroll?
No. It prepares operational inputs for review; it does not submit payroll or pay employees.
Does it submit insurance claims?
Claims submission and payer integrations are not promised for this version.
